Spirits

Spirits are an important part of Italian wine culture, with a long history of production dating back centuries. Italy is known for producing a wide range of spirits, including grappa, amaro, limoncello, and more. Grappa, in particular, is a traditional Italian spirit made from the pomace (grape skins, seeds, and stems) leftover from winemaking. Amaro, on the other hand, is a bitter herbal liqueur that is often consumed as a digestif after meals.

Limoncello, a sweet and tangy lemon liqueur, is another popular Italian spirit. These spirits are often enjoyed as aperitifs or digestifs, or used as ingredients in cocktails. Whether sipped neat or mixed into a cocktail, Italian spirits offer a delicious taste of Italy's rich and diverse wine culture.
