Sparkling Wine

Sparkling wine is one of Italy's most celebrated wine styles, and it is produced in several regions throughout the country. Perhaps the most well-known Italian sparkling wine is Prosecco, which hails from the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. Made primarily from the Glera grape, Prosecco is known for its light, refreshing style and delicate bubbles.

Another famous Italian sparkling wine is Franciacorta, which is produced using the traditional method in the Lombardy region. Franciacorta is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, and is often compared to Champagne for its complexity and elegance. Other regions that produce sparkling wine in Italy include Trento, Asti, and Lambrusco.
