An opulent wine solidly within the classic Verona tradition.
Variety: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella
Winemaking: The grape clusters are hand-picked from hillside vineyards in Valpolicella and placed to dry for 3 months in special drying lofts. It ferments in specialised fermenters, then matures in traditional large oak casks.The Amarone then ages at least 24 months in smaller oak casks.
Tasting notes: deep ruby red in colour with garnet highlights. Very fruity with hints of cherry, black cherry, wild berry fruit, chocolate.
