ARESCA GAVI DOCG 2021

Gavi is a famous white wine DOCG zone in Piedmont. The grapes come from vineyards in the area of Gavi, where this vine is traditionally grown. The typical pale yellow colour has green hints, the bouquet and taste are pleasant and fresh. Outstanding with any fish-based dishes. It’s best enjoyed young.
 
Variety: 100% Cortese
 
Vineyards: located around Gavi village in Monferrato area
 
Winemaking: the hand-picked grapes are soft-pressed and follow temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. It ages on the lees for 3 months in a steel tank.
 
Tasting notes: straw yellow colour with green re exes. Nose fruity and floral with scents of golden apple and acacia flower. The taste is fresh and pleasant with a savoury finish
 
Pairing: ideal with fish-based dishes, sushi and as aperitif.
 
Alcohol content: 12,5-13% vol.
