Winemaking: 20 days of maceration at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C with soft extraction process and frequent punch-downs.
It ages 12 months between Slavonian oak casks, French barriques and tonneaux of first and second use.
Tasting notes: Scents of red fruits, especially red cherries. Vanilla and tobacco are also widely detectable. Flavours of red cherry, plum, pepper and oak. Medium tannins, high acidity, long balanced finish.
Pairing: Pasta with meat ragu, beef and lamb roast, game. Beautiful with Ribollita soup.
